Previously on Thomas in the Bible, Jesus tells his apostles to go and preach in all the cities and to seek out those who are worthy. God admits to hiding the truth from smart people, but lets Christians have full understanding.

The disciples ate some raw corn on the Sabbath, and the Pharisees tell Jesus that it is unlawful for them to have done so.

But Jesus schools them on the law, and then tells them he's God, so it's cool as he's clearly not working.

Jesus healed some more people and expelled demons in order to fulfill a prophecy,

with a Thomas Yon count of three.

Hello, this is episode 201 of Thomas in the Bible. Today, our reading is Matthew 13 through 16, but the most

notable thing is that I was late. This episode is late for the first time in a while,

over a year. Okay, well, I already talked about it on atheistically speaking, and I know I,

you know, a lot of listeners listen to both, so I don't want to go through the full

story. Long story short, here's a quick abbreviated version.

Worst time and work ever right now. I worked a 16 hour day and many 12 hour days this week.

In addition to getting my new house and not having anything, including internet or, you know, appliances or anything like that

or food or anything and just pretty much chaos all at the wrong time, not being able to get moved.

I had a nice store-up of atheistically speaking episodes, but that expired short of what I needed to because

of all the unforeseen delays. Now, I don't store up Thomas in the Bibles at all,

partly because I want to give a chance for Harley to do an intro. Thanks Harley for the intro.
