0:15.1	800 together like because oh it's so many I'm more proud that we just got it right

0:42.0	That's my thumb. Number one, we want to get the book of Matthew in our hip pocket. I just understand one book of the Bible, one that has the main character of Jesus. It seems like he's the centerpiece of the Bible and the big point of everything, most important character in all of history, all of redemptive history.
0:59.7	We want to understand him better, and we want to do it at such a pace that we can chase down every
1:05.6	I'm holding on my second finger on the second thing that we can chase down every
1:08.7	rabbit trail that we can think of that we can go and look at all the different parts of the Bible,
1:15.5	no limitations of like, ah, well, you know, we got only 30 minutes because the sermon
1:19.7	is Sunday morning in church.
1:21.0	I love church, and I love the way that works there, but this new medium
1:24.9	that has come to exist here in the last 15 or 20 years, podcasting has given us the opportunity
1:30.0	to approach this in a weird way that's a little bit unprecedented and I think that is awesome.
1:36.8	So those have been a couple of themes, a third theme.
1:39.4	Oh yeah, the bottom line isn't like getting you to think my stuff. That's a third theme of this conversation.
1:45.2	The objective is for you to understand the material and I believe and hope but you know
1:50.8	If this isn't your conviction it's not your conviction but I believe there's a God
