One of the things I've really enjoyed about the internet and YouTube in particular are

0:12.0

the videos and the commentary that you get on storytelling.

0:15.5

I love storytelling, I love narrative, I love, especially complex storytelling that has

0:20.2

lots of layers and themes and stuff to take out of it, stuff that challenges you and

0:23.4

pushes you and that's the mark of good art, bad art, reaffirms whatever you were feeling

0:28.4

a second ago and makes you feel like you don't need to change or grow or be challenged

0:32.5

1:12.3

you get Star Wars Episode 8, it's a dumpster fire.

1:15.6

But when artists art and critics criticize, you get a pretty good balance in terms of

1:20.1

how everything works.

1:21.1

Again, what's been pretty fun about the internet is what's an easier model for content than

1:26.5

watching what other people make and then responding to it.

1:30.7

That's a pretty smooth sailing model where you've always got the next bit of obvious content
