In this episode, I speak with Matt Weidemer.

I was very excited to connect with Matt years ago and very excited

to have him speak at this year's event. I tried to get him to speak at last year's event,

but he's on the John Bones-Jones fight team. And last year, a UFC fight with Johnny Bones

was in Manhattan. So he could not speak.

But anyway, I love speaking with coaches and business owners and gym owners who are consistently growing and evolving.

So Matt talks about the mistakes he's made running personal training studios.

And Matt's background, by the way, a lot of people forget, I forgot, is his first mentor was Buddy Morris,

and he was a strength coach, an assistant strength coach in the NFL with Buddy with the Cleveland Browns.

Matt also spent time training at West Side Barbell, competed in powerlifting, has worked with Stan

Efforting, but it's really cool to listen to how he created a new gym, a different kind of

gym, how he varied the income streams to make sure if things do change, which things

always change, he's consistently earning an income.

He's not dependent on one style of income.

So these are the kind of things we will be covering with real coaches.

And it's really impossible to learn this stuff from people who don't run a gym anymore, used to run a gym, used to coach.
