Welcome back to another season

of On the Wind.

I'm your host, Andy Shell,

recording from Mission Control container in Sweden. It's hot today. I've got the door open. I've got to figure out how to get some shade in here because this thing sits out in the sun and it's like a solar oven in the summertime. But it won't be long that I'm out of here tomorrow.

So I guess this will be a week old when you hear this.

But I'm heading to Spike it tomorrow to meet the crew for the Gotland Runt race.

They're coming on Wednesday.

Mia and I just got done with a family vacation.

We had Axel out sailing in the archipelago outside Stockholm for a week. It was spectacular.

I am just reminded how much I like small boats and how beautiful the archipelago is. Axel loved it.

I'm just in a fantastic mood this week. It was such a fun trip. Very excited to do Galtlin Runt.

And then after that, my dad is flying over from the U.S.

And me, my dad, and Axel are going to sail from Sandham back into Stockholm or Anne Sheping

with Axel. So another week of cruising. So I get to show my dad everything that's over here.

I'm so excited, actually, that I'll give you a little tease here. I'm going to start doing one or two trips a year on Spica in the Stockholm Archipelago and surrounding areas.

So very different trips than what we do on Falcon and East Bjorn.

The boat is super simple.

It's more akin to camping than offshore sailing.

We'll probably sail out to Orland, maybe sail down to Gotland.
