perspective on how Donald Trump pulled off his stunning electoral upset of Hillary Clinton and what to

expect from a Donald Trump presidency. El De Niro is not a Trump fan, but he is the type of left-leanor

I love because he wants to understand how this happened, and he's got a mind open and curious enough

not to fall for the easy answers of everyone is racist and everyone is sexist and everyone is

bigoted. I really enjoyed this conversation. There are some areas on which we agree. In fact,

there are plenty. There are some areas on which we disagree. But I think we really gave each other

good alternative perspectives.
