I'm Mick Garris and from Nice Sky Productions world headquarters overlooking the glamorous San Fernando Valley,

this is post-mortem.

Hollywood is a fickle beast.

Careers in entertainment can be a long time coming or they can flame on in an instant.

A star can flare brightly in the public eye, but the fire can be extinguished just as quickly.

For a performer in front of the camera particularly, longevity

is unique. To spend a lifetime as a working actor is a feat that many of the most famous

of them don't achieve.

It's an accomplishment in a business that is all about finding who or what is new, making the

most of their moment in the sun, and fading into obscurity.

To be able to span decades in front of the camera requires talent, dedication, and maybe

most importantly, versatility.

And if you are lucky enough to scale those mountains, the working actor, most of them, the character actors, finds him or herself traveling the world in a constantly shifting kaleidoscope of roles.

Our guest today is one of those actors.

Matt Freuer is the actor I've worked with more than any other.

Other filmmakers and I often talk on the show about how great it is to work with
