Hello and welcome to the TIFO football podcast.

Today I was delighted to be joined by Matt Ford. Matt Ford is an

excellent comedian. He's also a comedy writer. He's a radio presenter. He hosts a fantastic podcast,

well, a couple of podcasts, but the one I listen to is the political party podcast where he interviews lots of really

interesting guests from UK politics. He's also an excellent impressionist. And he hosts

rock and roll football on absolute radio, which many of you, I'm sure, will have listened to

before, maybe in the car on the way to a football match. So I was really delighted to have Matt in.

We talked about his love of Nottingham Forest and his love of UK politics,

or more specifically the Labour Party,

how those two things sort of coalesce and combine with each other.

We talked a little bit about Qatar towards the end.

And yeah, it was a great conversation. I really enjoyed it and I'm very appreciative to Matt for making time and coming in

because at the moment he's very busy. He's on the road with his new show, Brexit pursued by a bear,

which he describes in greater detail than I can later in the show. I'm actually going
