was just how much are oil and gas workers here in America are maligned by bad faith actors who don't know

a whole lot about the industry. Now, our oil and gas workers, they put their lives on the line for this country.

It's a dangerous job.

Sometimes these people are working like 12, 13, 14 hours a day.

And what they do makes our lives so much better.

I mean, obviously, you know, their hard work

in the field allows us to fill up our cars and our trucks

with cheap gas. They're the ones like that allow us to have lights on in our

house at night and they work their butts off for us and it's often a very thankless job.

So the oil and gas industry is something that's obviously very, very important to me.

I don't like to see these great patriots be maligned as they are and the fact of the matter is this.

Most people in this country don't understand the oil and gas industry.

They don't understand the national security benefits. They don't understand. oil and

they don't understand the national security benefits. They don't understand the economic benefits

and they really don't understand that there's a moral component to

a strong oil and gas or energy sector as well and that is that that is that rich people

people that are in the top 1% or even people that are doing real well for

themselves in the middle class, when gas prices go up, they don't suffer as much.
