All right guys, we've got a very special guest on the podcast today.

This is the guy that I have probably mentioned the most on this podcast in terms of

preachers that I've listened to and I am so excited to bring an interview with

him to you guys and that is with the one the only Matt Chandler. So as I told you guys from the very beginning of this

podcast back in 2017, Matt Chandler has been like my dude and so I've listened to

every single one of the sermons that he has preached from the village church stage since 2009, maybe 2008, 2009.

And so his books, his preaching, and the things that he has done in ministry have had a profound impact on me and just recently just you know this spring He's become a buddy of mine and so Joby Martin's good friends with him and so he introduced me to him because he got a new book coming out and I went down to Dallas

and I got to train some Jiu-Jitsu with him and we just became fast friends so we've broken

bread together we spent a good amount of time together and we've got some more stuff

you know that I can't talk about right now that we'll be

doing here in the very near future that'll be amazing and awesome but for those

of you that don't know who in the world I'm talking about he is a preacher he's

a pastor he's an author he's the senior pastor of the village church in Texas. He has been so since 2002.

He's also the executive director of the board of the Acts 29 Church Network.

So he has authored a bunch of different books, but my favorite of the books that he's written is the explicit

gospel. So we have the 100 books every modern Christian man should read list on our
