First of all, before we get to your guys win on Saturday and look ahead,

first time in my life, and I hate to admit it publicly, I was rooting for the Green Bay Packers.

Last night, for real, I hate the Packers.

They're probably my least favorite franchise in all of

sports. But our boy Alan Lazard, man, and I saw you tweet about it right after.

How much pride did you have watching him? Just everything he's been through, getting to the end zone.

And then here, Aaron Roger, is one of the greatest of all time.

Just talk glowingly about him after the game.

Yeah, I think probably as proud as him scoring a touchdown is the words of a you know a future Hall of

of Famer talking about this young kid who's straining to make the team and

make a difference and you know what Allen was doing in practice and how he was doing it in the film

room and those are the things that I think the greatest joy that just take and

so excited for Alan because you know he's building himself into something that's got the ability to last in that league now and you know

Alan's journey's been it hasn't been perfect and to be honest with you Alan I talked about that at times when it when it kind of the tough

moments came and I said this may be the greatest thing that could ever

happen to you because now you you're going to your backs against the wall and you're

going to find out what you're made of and you know his response to it and seeing it all come

together last night it was one of the great joys that I've had and I'm just so

proud of him because he's got great talent he's an amazing young. He's done so much for Iowa State football and

you know I really didn't know we were in here game planning and our you know downstairs

kind of erupted in a locker room and everybody kind of like what the heck's going on and you know we
