Matthew 8, 9, and Mark 2 through 5.

So a lot of chapters this week.

And we're not going to be able to nearly touch all of them, but there's a couple that we want to focus in on and some things that I really think will make a difference for you this week.

Especially because we're talking about miracles.

I guess today we don't really have a study tip, but we have an introduction to Mark because we haven't done that one yet.

We kind of have done those introductions to some of the other gospel writers, but here we go on Mark. We touched a little bit

on him in one of our earlier episodes, and I wanted to offer just a little bit more detail.

So if you remember from the episode that we introduced the synoptic gospels, that's

Matthew, Mark, and Luke, one of the mistakes we can make when approaching the New Testament

is thinking that Matthew Mark and Luke are all pretty much the same. They're completely different,

which is ironic because a lot of their material is the same, almost in some places word for word,

but they put it in different places, they organize it differently, they emphasize different things,
