Summary

In this episode, Mark and Lou take a listener question: what are some ways in which we might approach match play strategy differently than we would stroke play? For American listeners, who play less match play than in other countries, this might be helpful on a subject you haven't thought much about. For others, you will find pointers for a style of golf you play more often and want to succeed at.

So just a quick question then.

1:41.8

So in the UK, match play is a big part of how we play golf. So if we went and played golf, me and you just socially, we would play matchplay if we wanted to keep score. We wouldn't keep score. We could do that privately in our head, but we would do match play because it's friendly. You can pick up. I can pick up. Let's go on, you've had too many, I've made a par, whatever,
