Hello, everybody, and welcome once again to the smartest man in the world podcast, taking

into the ether here from the salubriest confrines of the wine bar at the Edinburgh French

Festival right here at the Gilded Balloon.

Let's have a hand for that shall we for creativity, I don't even know if they call it the French

Festival anymore.

Our crack technical staff has been smoking crack all night and has just now decided to change

the microphone stand at the outset of the show because their timing is impeccable.

Like a tiny peckery they run through the woods.

This is our third group cast we've done here from the wine bar at the Gilded Balloon in

the air has not grown any fresher.

This room is close like the black hole of fucking Calcutta and we're all cloistered in here

shoulder to shoulder together.

But one thing we are is connected at the heart, that's good booze, I hope you had some in

the bar outside.

This is my, I've only been in Edinburgh about a week already and I haven't eaten too much

take out food which I'm reasonably proud of just Chinese food on the second night when

I didn't feel that well.

But the funnest part of Edinburgh is of course eating at all the, the difference when I came

here some 20 years ago was 21 years ago there was no food carts or doughnut stands or clean

bathrooms or anything.
