As we wrap up this series on the Artisan Soul, Pastor Erwin McManus delivers a passionate message on Masterpiece God gave us called life.

Throughout Jesus' life, he told parables, metaphors and images to show his disciples that he was going to die. But they could only interpret death in the terms they knew, which were finite.

Jesus reminds us that our life is supposed to be a work of art and his canvas is the human spirit.

Jesus life was a walking art installation of Life. When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, he said to him I am the life. There’s nothing to fear in death. There’s nothing to fear in life. The only proof of life after death, is life before death and what we really long for is life before death.

This message is inspired by Artisan Soul, Erwin Raphael McManus' book that calls us to reclaim our creative essence as humans.

1:21.6	species that creates art. It's our solitary gift because art is an expression of the soul.
1:32.6	An art exists as evidence of the soul and the soul exists to create because intrinsically
1:40.8	humans are artisans. You are designed by God to materialize the invisible and if you
1:48.9	saw it when you walked in, it's a declaration that will change your life if you will allow
1:56.3	it to sink deep. That bees create hives and ants create colonies with humans create
2:02.8	futures. But you are created in the image and likeness of God and this is what makes you
2:10.6	uniquely human. But like all art, art is simply an extension of the soul. Art is an extension
2:20.8	of the artist. It is an expression of the artist's essence. And when we see that true, whether
2:27.5	it's on a canvas or on clay, we also see that as a reality when it comes to life, when
2:33.2	you begin to craft your life as a work of art, when you begin to realize that everything
2:38.7	you touch, everything you influence, everything you create is simply an extension of the universe
2:44.8	inside of you. You cannot create a better world if your heart is filled with darkness. You cannot
