I'm Will Terry and Lee White is not with us today because our third point perspective is Travis Hansen.

Travis Hansen and this was such a good interview. I got so many little nuggets of like,

oh, I got to change this, I got to work on that, I got to do better here.

The guy is incredible. Travis Hansen lives in

Southern California. You might know him as the creator of The Bean, which is one of the earliest

web comics online. He started that in 1999. And you could find his, go to his website, beanleafpress.com and also check him out on Instagram.

So you want the cartoonist in California.

What did you think of the interview, Will? We just got done with it. It was great. Probably my

biggest takeaway and the takeaway that I'm hoping that you guys listening takeaway as well is Travis is one of those people who just decided that he was going to have an

art career and he didn't wait to be picked he went directly at it and made it happen and it's

inspirational because I truly believe that if you are committed,

you don't even have to be the most talented.

If you're committed, I'm not saying anything about his talent level in that comment.

I'm just saying, I'm saying you work into it and we live in a day and age where you don't have to rely on someone else

giving you a job and it's interesting because I know that we've all been programmed that way

right and the biggest question that I get asked as an illustrator is how do I get work? In other words, how does someone

else give me a job? And my biggest takeaway from Travis is he gave himself a bunch of jobs.
