The best thing I ever learned when a company is growing is like you have to ask, not assume.

I say it's like putting curiosity ahead of judgment because a lot of the times when the team grows,

they might not see the direct value that that person puts into their job or into the organization.

And so then maybe the one interaction they have is slightly negative.

Maybe they say hi in the hallway and that person doesn't engage back the way they wanted them to or whatever

it might be. And so that person takes offense immediately. Welcome back. Today I have my teammate Seth's

with me and we're going to have a conversation about how to manage a fast-grown company, what you do,

what are the pros and cons of a company that's

taking off, whether you're a small company that's just taking off and just starting,

or you're a big company that's still continuing to grow quickly.

I think I've been here about six weeks

and it's moving really fast. There's already been new people since I've been here, which is

I think that the number one thing is that when a company is growing quickly, communication will
