If our output exceeds our input, then our upkeep will be our downfall.

And I think sometimes we in ministry can have so many ions in the fire that we actually put the fire out.

So many of many people, I think, will be familiar with you.

You're quite a household name.

In terms of describing you, I mean, evangelist, speaker, author.

I think you've authored over 60 books.

Minister, social activists, people, if they haven't come across you through your books or you're speaking,

another means would be through the TV show. You do Facing the Canon. And thank you for having

me on a few months ago. That's great to be with you. Let me kick off. I mean, I want to get

all your background. But why facing the Canon? What's the Canon part of it? Well, when I started doing those interviews a number of years

ago, we're trying to be very creative to come up with some kind of a strap line. And I'm a

canon at Coventry Cathedral. And basically that's the church giving me a seat in a cathedral, which is basically saying

they're affirming authority for the ministry that we do. And it's just a little thing that I have

in my back pocket. I don't really go around calling myself Canon J. John.

But then we thought, oh, actually, we could milk that. And so we came up with the phrase facing the

canon, which fits the program. And so, I mean, you're kind of, would you say I'm kind of Anglican or do you feel strongly Anglin?
