I was at an event recently and the speaker was talking about the inability of people in general

To to think reasonably or rationally about things and that in the school system

They are not students are simply not taught clear thinking certainly the public school system maybe some private schools and home scores are

Education of their young people which is great the reason they don't teach us in public schools and I don't know if this is conscious or not

But it's just a thought I had is because they wouldn't be able to teach a whole bunch of other nonsense that they teach if they taught people clear thinking

Anyway, so we asked how many people have taken a course in logic and it turned out in this particular church there were

Quite a number of people that raised their hands that they had taken some logic and I didn't raise my hand because I've never taken a course in logic

Now I employ some of the principles of careful thinking and

Partly because not because I've taken a whole course in this and I can do symbolic logic and all that other stuff

But I understand some basic things about how these things work and frankly I was introduced to them more in a caught
