There have been big demonstrations outside the Israeli Parliament over government plans

to curb the power of the courts.

Russia says Ukraine has attacked an ammunition dump in occupied Crimea,

and new details from the Indian state of Manipur about brutal attacks

on ethnic minority women during sectarian unrest in May.

Thousands of people are evacuated from beaches on the Greek island of roads

as wildfires destroy hotels.

Tens of thousands of Israelis have arrived in Jerusalem to protest

over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's plans to curb the power of the judges.

Many of the demonstrators had set off from Tel Aviv on Tuesday,

and by Saturday, the numbers marching had swelled to around 100,000.

As they moved along the main highway in Jerusalem,

many waved Israeli flags and blue horns.
