Hey, everybody. It is Wednesday, May 20th for listening to the Mo News podcast. I'm Moosh Wanoon.

0:16.4

And I am Jill Wagner. This is the place where we bring you just the facts. And we read all the news and read between the lines, so you do not have to.

0:24.7

And for anyone looking for a little inspiration on this Wednesday morning, Billy Jean King at the age of 82, proving it is never too late to finish what you started.

0:34.7

She officially has earned her bachelor's degree in history from

0:39.2

California State University. And that is more than six decades after she first enrolled at the school

0:45.2

in 1961. Yes, apparently she left school early without her degree back in 1964 to focus on,

1:28.2

was Brian Williams, the former NBC anchor, and I think he's over at Amazon. He was among those

1:35.5

that went to college for a couple years and was like, I'm going to this journalism thing.

1:40.2

And so I remember all those years later, they awarded him a degree.

1:46.4

Moshe, that is very interesting because I wasn't surprised about hearing about Billy Jean, because, of course, she was such a legendary tennis player.

1:54.7

But Brian Williams, I am surprised, given that he went into journalism.

1:58.9

Yeah, he was like 18-credit shy.

2:00.7

You know, this is the thing. And you might know this if you went there or if you had kids there. GW is like in the middle of Washington, D.C. It's only a few blocks away from the White House, a few blocks away from the State Department. You start oftentimes freshman year doing internships.
