My agenda is simple.

Each week we plan to bring you in-depth insight into the creative process of storytelling.

You know, folks, I am really proud to have gotten this episode together and feel so lucky to have this great panel assembled here today for you.

Of course, we're talking about the Sundance 2021 film Mass.

And in today's episode, we have debut writer-director, Fran Kranz,

and we also have actors, Jason Isaacs, Martha Plimpton, Ann Dowd, and Reed Bernie.

And what we're all going to talk about is Kraft.

The only thing you really need to know about the film is that it's two sets of

parents sitting down to reconcile the tragic events that befell their children years

earlier in a high school.

And I don't want to tell you too much more.

But, you know, I think the kind of colder you go in, the better, but it's okay if you find out more.

You're just not really going to learn too much here. So don't worry. Beyond what I just said, you really don't need to know too much else about Mass to enjoy this amazing conversation. So, you know, we did a conversation with

everybody together. And then I thought just to put it in the format a little better for the Q&A's,

I would get Fran by himself to kind of introduce himself and give history of the project and his writing

habits, which we didn't really cover when the whole group was together. So, you know, you should

consider this part one of Mass. Mass is an amazing film, by the way. You're going to be hearing

a lot about it in 2021. And I highly recommend you jump at the chance to see it

when you have a chance finally. So we are going to plan hopefully to do a part two where we could

talk about the scenes and be spoiler specific. But that's not what we're getting in here today.
