So let's face it, the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan has been an unmitigated disaster.

The images of chaos coming from Kabul are reminiscent of the fall of Saigon.

It does not matter that Biden inherited most of what is happening,

or that Trump unilaterally signed a withdrawal pack

that dramatically sped up the U.S. exit,

all but dooming Biden to this very fate.

Ultimately, this is President Biden's decision.

He is the one that is called for this.

Withdrawal is going forward with it.
