Welcome to the show today. We are back on taxes. We're going to have Armina Bacha joining us to give us an update of what's in the

current bills that are being negotiated in the House and Senate. And she's also going to talk

to us about government spending, which, per the usual, is a little bit out of control. So

excited to give you some of those insights. But other than that, Tommy, give us a little bit of an overview of what we're

looking at today. Oh, boy. Well, these may be the busiest two weeks of the year coming up.

Of course, there's a Christmas party every night that everybody in Congress has to go to.

And during the day, they've got to be working on tax reform, which the president has said that he wants to sign it before Christmas.

And they've got to be working on government spending, which is due now.

They had a short punt last week.

It's due December 22nd, three days before Christmas.

Down to the wire.

Yeah.

So they've got this week and next week to accomplish those things.

They've got to deal with the Children's Health Insurance Program, the National

Flood Insurance Program, 7-02 authorization for our intelligence capabilities.

They're trying to work on a disaster relief package.

This is like, you know, exam week times 10.

This is a really busy season on Capitol Hill.

We're hoping that a lot of good comes out of it.
