The Athletic. This is Talk of the Devils, the Athletics podcast dedicated to Manchester United.

On Wednesday, Adam Crafton broke the news on The Athletic that in early August, United's

chief executive Richard Arnold had told the club's executive leadership group that United were planning to reintegrate Mason Greenwood into the first team.

Greenwood had sexual assault charges against him dropped in February,

charges that he denies, and as a story was published on the Athletic,

Manchester United released a statement saying the investigation was done,

but a final decision had not yet been made.

To discuss this, I'm joined by the usual group of Laurie Whitwell, Carl Anka and Andy Mitum.

Laurie, if I can start with you, can you give us a timeline, please,

of exactly how this has played out for Manchester United and Mason Greenwood?

Yeah, so it's been about 18 months, I think, since this all started with the social media

posts that were put online. And in response to that, the police arrested Mason Greenwood

and United suspended him. So that was January 22. There's been a number of hearings since that
