| 0:53.5 | Okay. Okay. I hope it wasn't something you ate. You sound a little weird, too, but that's because our voice changer is on. You are now the mass speaker, Evan, so whenever you're ready, go ahead. Tell us your confession. So, when I got in college, I started this business, make a long story short, and I thought I was going to be successful, and I poured everything I had into it. It's hard right out of college. You don't have, like, the context. You don't, you know, have the experience. Well, I completely failed, which led to me, like, moving back home with my parents to try to be able to pay everything and kind of get out of debt. That's hard, man. So, like, for the last two years, I've been working for a catering company. Like, it's not bad. It's decent money. Okay, cool. You know, I'm getting back up on my feet, and I'm doing pretty well. I'm doing better. Yeah. Paying off your debts and stuff. I mean... feel not out of the woods yet. You should be proud of this. I hope this isn't your confession. Well, it kind of gets into my confession. So I went to this place that we were catering as an event. It was a big event. And I didn't, you know, I saw some people that kind of looked familiar. Like, I don't know. You see people that you think you know, but I don't know. That guy looks familiar or whatever. Like while you're working at the event, you mean? Yeah, well, we're setting up, and I see some people. And then I actually look at the sign and it says, welcome the class of such and such. Like, it's my 10-year high school reunion. Oh, my God. Oh, you're catering your own high school reunion. Yeah, like I got an email months ago, but I didn't really read it. I didn't really care. Yeah. You know, it just said like high school arena, so I'm not going to that freaking thing. Not everyone goes in there is. Are you freaking out? I was kind of like crapping my pants a little. and I said to my boss, I'm like, I have to go. And he was like, you know, he's a great guy. He's like, what's my not feeling well? You're not this? I'm like, this is my high school reunion. I'm kind of embarrassed and I'm a server. Oh, that's so tough, man. Like, you know, you shouldn't be ashamed, of course, of what you're doing, but like to have to show up and serve your own class. That sucks. Unless you're the server that's holding the crab cake tray. Because then you're the cool thing. Hey, I'm popular again. You know, it's just such a weird dynamic. So I said to my boss, I'm like, I have to go. He wouldn't let me go. |
| 3:07.9 | Oh. |
| 3:10.2 | He's like, I need you. |
| 3:11.7 | And I'm like, shaking nervous. |
| 3:12.5 | And he saw that. |
