I was speaking on the subject of womanhood several years ago in a large church in Boston

after which a young woman came up to me, chewing gum a mile a minute.

And she said, you know, I disagree with some of the stuff you said.

I said, fine.

Would you specify two points?

Well, I don't know.

I mean, like, you know, I don't like some of the stuff you say.

And I said, now wait a minute, you've already said two different things.

You started out by saying you disagreed with me and then you said you disliked what I said.

It really isn't the same thing as it.

You may dislike a lot of things I say, but in order to disagree, you had better be able

to present a case to refute my arguments.

I was trained in debating in college.

And it's not good enough just to dislike it.

Well, I don't know.

I mean, like, you know, I don't like to think of myself as a woman.
