Today we're sharing a special collaboration episode we recorded with Dr. Casey Jordan and Dr. Colleen Butler Suite of the podcast, Criminal Appeal. This conversation was especially meaningful to me. Dr. Casey Jordan has long been someone I've admired professionally, so having the chance to sit down together was truly an honor.

We discussed the murder of 13-year-old Marianne Measles of New Milford, Connecticut, a case that

devastated the community and ultimately revealed multiple perpetrators. The case is deeply personal

to Casey, who lived in the area at the time and even joined the searches for

Marianne before her body was found. Despite its complexity and the shocking dynamics involved,

this case never received the national attention it deserved. In this episode, we examined the

criminology and psychology behind the crime, particularly the power dynamics within group
