Well, today we are going to talk about somebody that I haven't really covered very much on the show, and that is Mary Tudor, sister of Henry the 8th, Queen of France.

So this is a great topic because I think there's something so intriguing about her and to me maybe a little mysterious just because I don't know very much about her

and yet she played such a huge role at Tudor Court in my opinion. So what got you interested in

Mary? When I was researching educating the Tudors, which was my first book, I was intrigued

about her relationship with Henry to start with. Obviously, they grew up together. They did

have a good relationship. He essentially spoilt her rotten, but then I suppose you could look at it that she was a princess.

It was her Jew, so to speak.

And it just kind of expanded from there.

So I wanted to look at what happened to her when she left England, that kind of thing,

and just her life in general,
