episode, we have a wild, wild case to cover today. I mentioned to you guys a couple weeks ago that we are dedicating the

month of July to sadistic and sinister stalkers and this case definitely falls

into that category without a shadow of a doubt. Now I do want to mention

that there is something slightly different about this case in comparison to the

ones that we have covered recently and that is that this case is also a survival story.

So even though it also falls into the category of sinister stockers,

we are also talking about a survival story as well.

Today we are talking about the case of Mary Stouffer

as well as her daughter Beth Stouffer

and what they endured during their 53 days of captivity by a sadistic stalker.

So with that being said, let's jump right on into it today.

Mary Stouffer was born in 1944 in Duluth, Minnesota. She and her family moved to

Hermontown, Minnesota when she was 10 years old, and Mary, as well as the rest of her siblings graduated from

Hermontown High School before Mary went on to attend Bethel College.

Now Bethel College was located in St Paul Paul, Minnesota, and while Mary was there, she ended up meeting a man
