While the headlines continue to be dominated by the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, I wanted to take this opportunity to shine a very bright spotlight on a story that's being completely overlooked right now.

And it's something every single American should know about.

The Trump regime's Department of Homeland Security is getting even more egregious in their abuses of power

and their complete disregard for human life.

And this specifically when it comes to ICE and its illegal immigration tactics.

But before we start, I want to kick this off with a trigger warning,

because the content we're about to discuss is extremely

graphic in nature in some places. It's something many of us would prefer to look away from,

but we cannot because we have a duty to amplify and cover stories like this. It's appalling, but this is information that has to be told and shared.

So we're going to face it together.

A recently leaked video shows that the conditions inside of New York City's ice processing center

at 26 Federal Plaza are nothing short of horrific.

The rare look inside one of the facilities being used to hold migrants detained by ICE.

New video appears to show the conditions on the 10th floor of a federal immigration court in New York City,

through which hundreds of migrants have passed some being held for days on end, allegedly without beds, showers, and only one meal a day.

The Department of Homeland Security says that this is only a temporary holding center to process people briefly who are awaiting deportation,

not a long-term detention center, but we have reviewed government data that indicates that some

detainees have spent as many as eight days in that detention center, as many as 200 people

were held there at any given moment in June, and so this is becoming a long-term detention center.

However, the administration is not allowing lawmakers to inspect the facility,

arguing that it is not a detention center.
