county Carrie Fitzsimmons is in Ireland. I was sick, very sick this weekend, and I'm

covered, but you know, I got that that cold hangover still a little groggy little

Flemmy. It's kind of nice. It's almost like being hung over from booze, which I

haven't been in 32 years. Tap that into the universe, Fitzsie. Which I like. I like

taking the edge off a little bit. Having a good cold can be that's a good

stop down because you're never expecting it. You know, we all lay out our lives in a

very meticulous manner. We make appointments, we schedule things, we look forward to

things, we plot, we plan, we strategize, and then boom, you get, I mean, I got sick and

just everything gets canceled and everything stops down. And you realize life's not

really that important. Anything can be pushed really anything. And we all learned

that with that with the pandemic. And then the hard thing is getting back into it.

Like today's Monday, and I am dragging ass. It's four o'clock. I've been sitting in my

office for five fucking hours. Just trying to get started on this podcast, but wasting time.

And, and now we're doing it. We're doing it. It all started with me getting vaccinated

for COVID. I got my booster and I got the flu shot. And then 24 hours later, man, I got

sick like a dog. You know the kind of sick where you get fluey and you get tight a fever.

And you know where you have to arch your back and stretch to not be in pain. It's the

only thing that suits you is writhing around. And you want to watch TV because you're

like, good, now I can just veg and binge, but it's like, no, because my head is fucking

killing me. And I have snot dripping nonstop from my nose to the point where my nose is

raw. And you start to think about death and how death must not be much worse than this.
