I have excluded all political ads from my show, and if they play, it's because they were

mislabeled, possibly intentionally, to try to sneak them through. Tis the season for that.

The company I work with for my ads, Libson, will absolutely take care of it as long as they know

there is an issue.

Regardless of what you think my politics are, and if you're a long-time listener,

you follow my personal social media, you can probably guess.

But yes, even ads I agree with should not be playing on my show.

I will use my platform to advocate for criminal justice issues, and I do believe that true crime is inherently political because the people who make the laws

and depending on the jurisdiction the people enforcing them are elected officials.

That said you will only hear those issues in my own voice within the context of an episode.

You should not be hearing any political messaging in the form of an advertisement, and if you do, send me an email and I can get the information

from you that I need so I can pass that along to the company and they will yank the

ad and if you don't want to hear any ads political or not, I will shamelessly plug my

patron supercast and Apple subscription options here. It is $5 a month on any of those platforms

and you will never have to hear any ad on crime lines again.
