Mary and I got to know each other when we both did our

graduate studies at Regent College in Vancouver, and we've stayed good friends since then.

So Mary is an Old Testament scholar and does a lot of work in missions as well, so I'm really

interested to talk to you about the convergence of those two things,

because often they're held worlds apart. Mary received her PhD from Cambridge and her THM from

Regent College of Vancouver, and she is the author of the characterization of the Assyrians in Isaiah, Synchronic and Diacronic Perspectives.
