This is the movement of the Holy Family, leading people to Jesus through friendship, good conversation and the Rosary. So welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am blessed to be at the home of the Me burgers this evening. We've had a fantastic meal good conversation.

Father Brian is with us. He's going to bless their house right after this. Now we are in the nine-day novena to the Holy Spirit and in these

meditations, were specifically trying to have a greater understanding of the connection between the Holy Spirit and Mary.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for, praying for

for Steve White to receive a new heart for the healing of Olivia Canile, for all those that we've promised to pray for.

Now the Holy Spirit is not a woman.

That's an interesting way to begin a rosary, isn't it?

The Holy Spirit is not a woman because God is neither man or woman. However, we contribute specific

characteristics to the mission of the Sun and the mission of the Spirit.

The Sun became man and the bridegroom. Jesus was the bridegroom because the church is the bride.

So the son has characteristics of a man and a bridegroom and his mission.

Likewise, we can attribute certain characteristics to the mission of the Holy Spirit.

Fax St. John Paul II in his letter on Mary says that the Holy Spirit fulfills a mission of maternal mediation.

The Holy Spirit's mission has maternal characteristics

to conceive and form Jesus, first in Mary Mary but then in us. So there is a real maternal

quality to the mission of the Holy Spirit. Our Father who art in heaven, hollow it be your name. spirit.
