Netflix's Mary movie they just came out with is a movie that they made for everyone and it's

kind of for nobody. That's my opinion about it. But I'm doing not this. I'm not doing this as a

movie review. I'm doing this as a Christian many years as a pastor, a Bible teacher, someone who

cares very much about these things. These things are close to my own heart. If you're going to

do a movie like this, you want to do it right. You want to do it well. And this one, unfortunately,

is going to offend Catholics. It's going to offend Protestants. It's going to offend Orthodox. And

they're not just offended like they're being a bunch of babies. They're offended for good reason.

They will be bothered that something that is sacred, something that is very important, something that is very central, is taken, and then they did this with it.

So, I'm going to tell you about the merry movie.

Here's my review.

I'm not going to be playing clips of the film because Joel Osteen is the executive producer.

That's the reason for it.

Osteen has used the copyright system on YouTube to remove one of my videos in the past that was an analysis, a friendly analysis of one of his teachings.

And so, yeah, I'm not going to be putting myself in the, in the potential of having that happen again.

So executive producer Joel Osteen, which means he may have influenced it to some

degree, but he's more of a sponsor, probably financially. And Netflix made the movie, the Mary

movie that begins with, you think you know my story. Trust me, you don't. This is not a great

start for the Mary film. Okay, I've watched the film twice. I'm going to share with you where it comes from historically.

That's right.

It's not the Bible.

They have a different book they're using that is called the proto-evangelion of James that

is was actually cast out by several people throughout church history.
