This is Holy Family School of Faith.

Well, welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am gathered together with a couple hundred friends, not in my living room, but at Holy Spirit.

And we are together reflecting on what it really means to live the consecration to Mary,

which is actually the secret of Mary.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

And let's call to mind all of those we've promised to pray for.

In order to understand the secret of Mary, we have to be reminded of the mission of the Holy Spirit,

that there is this joint mission between the son and the spirit.

Where God the Father created and saved the world through his son and the spirit,

these are the two hands of the father so to speak and the mission of the son is to become man and save us from sin and death by his own suffering death and resurrection and the mission of the Holy Spirit is to bring the Sun into

the world, first in the womb of Mary, then in the souls of believers. But the mission of the Spirit is to go on to form Jesus within us so that

we can say with St Paul, it is not I who live but Christ who lives within me.

And the Holy Spirit has a maternal mission

to form Jesus first in Mary and then in us.

So in this joint mission of the Sun and the Spirit, the

Redemptive Mission of the Sun becomes manifest in Mary, the Redemptive

Mission of the Sun becomes manifest in Jesus, and the maternal mission of the sun becomes manifest in Jesus and the maternal mission of the spirit is manifest

in Mary.

And Mary and the Holy Spirit act as one.

They act as one in this sense that Mary is the perfect human expression of the person,

the mission, and the saving activity of the Spirit.
