Today, December 21st, the church looks to the visitation for inspiration in how to prepare in these last days before Christmas.

The scriptures tell us, Mary set out and went as quickly as she could to a town in the

hill country of Judah and she went into Zechariah's house and greeted Elizabeth.

Now as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting,

the child leaped in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.

She gave a loud cry and said, Blessed are you among women and Blessed is a fruit of your womb.
