Summary

Dan and Nick break down the draft profile of Marvin Harrison Jr. the wide receiver out of Ohio State and as you can tell from the title of this show -- he's one of their favorite prospects they've had the opportunity to evaluate not just in this draft class but any. The clear-cut WR1 for both Dan and Nick and they break down exactly why referencing the tape first and foremost, advanced stats, raw stats, the variations in his route running and how he translates to the NFL speed and rules. Finally, they discuss the big picture and whether or not he's a player the Giants should trade up for, target at 6 and which QBs they would draft Harrison over. Learn more about your ad choices. Nick Falado and that's Dan Schneier, not Dan Schneider. It's fucking really annoying these days being, uh, having the similar names that creep from Nickelodeon used to be like a funny joke. It's not even funny anymore. This guy's just like a terrible human being and he has a similar name to mine, which is just horrific. Though those who are Jewish who are following our podcast probably know that there are, you know, a difference between Schneider and Schneier. I feel like some people who haven't seen that last name a lot, though, Nick, just don't know the difference. Obviously, I'm getting confused sometimes on Twitter, which at one point was kind of funny or fun, but it's by far lost. it's all of its appeal and now it's's just become annoying and tragic too, because this guy's like a total horrible piece of crap human being. So like, obviously I don't want my name similar to him. And it's Stan Schneider from the Washington football team, the old owner, remember him? He was a bad guy to have a similar name to too. This guy's even worse, this Nickelodeon dude. So just horrible, horrible things.

But, you know, it's Dan Schneier, for those who don't know. And I am a different human being. I'm a lot younger than those people. And I have nothing to do with them. But no family relations, obviously. But anyway, we're here to talk football. We're here to talk Giants. We're here to talk draft. And today we're talking a prospect who is near and dear to my heart, though I don't think the Giants have any real chance to get him, though they might have if the Chargers had won that stupid game against the Chiefs backups at the end of the season. And that's Marvin Harrison Jr., the wide receiver out of Ohio State. Nick, I have now seen extensively the top three receivers, though I'm going back to rewatch Romo Dunze

a little bit more so we have a better feel just so I can get as much in as I got on him and

Harrison and Neighbors.

1:51.2

But I'm going to start here with a pretty big blanket statement.

1:54.0

For me, for what I look for and what I'm projecting to the NFL, Marvin Harrison

1:58.5

Jr. is not only my wide receiver one in this class, Nick, he's the number one overall prospect for me over Caleb Williams. And I just feel like, yes, I'm factoring a positional value in that, in that, but there are enough flaws, I would say, or not flaws, but drawbacks in Williams profile versus Harrison, for me, there's no drawbacks.

2:18.0

You can talk about the yak, but I'm going to debunk that on this podcast.

2:20.5

You can talk about the speed.

2:21.9

I'm going to debunk that, too, from at least what the tape shows.

2:24.5

So to me, when you get into all the other stuff, he does well, this is the best prospect

2:28.3

in the class, and he's the best wide receiver for me by a good enough margin, despite

2:32.5

loving both neighbors and a dungay mazarin as who is it gus johnson johnson he would say about him games yeah yeah he
