Today it is all about the action. Yes, the action is what it is all about. Emphasis on action.

Why are action movies exploding? Why do we love really nuanced action

choreography? Why do we love just Keanu Reeves roaring back to life getting like a six

stage of his career with John Wick? Why are the directors of all of these kick-ass movies?

The premier directors in Hollywood now. and why aren't our comic books

kicking even more ass? What happened to the action? Why was it such a priority for Marvel

comics back when I was a kid and when was the dreaded period where the powers that be

really rolled it back and gave us less action than ever and it was not a good

thing and then there was a reawakening and action returned to comics and right now it's happening again

there's being a course correction uh in regards to the the emphasis on action that that top gun has that john wick has that bullet train is going to have

that Deadpool two has that that extraction has today it is all about action in the comic books

This is my show where I talk about my passion and my consumption of all things,

pop culture and comic books that started at my very young age seven years old is really where i i can absolutely nail it stuff was coming in and out of my life in regards to comic books as early as five and six

but seven was when i locked in and my skateboard and my bicycle got a whole lot more, you know, tread on their wheels

and on their tires as I traveled Orange County looking for comic books. And again, comic books,

I've watched it that this is a phenomenon in that most people that I knew who were reading comics

in 1975 which I know you guys I understand how that sounds like little little house in the prairie i mean again this is a

time without computers there are no home computers there are no deep there's no vcrs you're not
