you have some time-sensitive info to share with our listeners tonight, right?

Well, being a Neil Gaiman Nut and a Sandman fan overall,

I'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Netflix series.

There's no news on that.

However, there's a little treat coming up before that July 15th,

audible, is going to be releasing the very first of the Sandman audio adaptations.

And so Neil was tweeting a bit about the differences between the two.

And so if we're talking about the upcoming Netflix series somewhere in the future,

he says that's going to be set in present day, so we'll have more modern cell

phones and technology upgrades and things of that nature, whereas the Audible series that's coming out, they were going back to the original notes

that he gave the artists for the Sandman comics 30 years ago.

Yeah so we're very excited to be going to the source. Now this is what got me super excited about this upcoming venture is that each episode is going to be one graphic novel or one comic from the Sandman series.

So I don't know exactly how many they're going to do but he said it was 11 hours of drama on the way and if you say it's a I don't I don't think they would need an hour per issue maybe they would

maybe they wouldn't depends on how they go with it but Neil Gaiman will be the narrator

so great choice there and then we're gonna take a quick listen because they

released a little teaser trailer and it's only audio but it gives you a sense with the music and the way that

James McAvoy as we all have known as Professor Xavier is is going to be jumping in

as the Lord of Dreams.
