January supposed to be a slow time of year as far as entertainment news is

concerned here we are dealing with the tsunami of Marvel's stories all at once.

Well, Marvel just, they're a machine. They keep having to churn out content because

once that big wheel starts turning, you can't dare let it stop or

slow down so yeah they're gonna turn out stuff whether it be for TV

Netflix Disney Plus movies that comics I mean they've got all media that they've got to engross themselves into now.

That is true.

And I thought the very first piece for this week's show, especially given what a wonderful job you did with your

Stan Lee tribute that likewise how you ended your top five of the year on our last

show. I thought you'd be intrigued to hear that finally we have an official celebration of the life of

Stan Lee coming up later this month.

Oh really? It's Kevin Smith who I know guy know you, know.

But Kevin evidently was the driving force on this,

but he teamed up with the folks at Legion M and Agents of Mayhem

along with Stan's own Powell Entertainment and it's this weird kind of split event where

there's a public component as well as a private presentation.

Public component is going to be happening on Wednesday, January 30th,

and it's actually being held outside in the forecourt of the Chinese theater.

The event kind of spins around where Stan did a handprint and footprint ceremony
