I'm Entertainment writer Jim Hill, and you and I must have been really good Marvel fans over the past year, Aaron, because we got a great early gift this year in the release of

Sony Pictures Animation Spider-Man into the Spider-verse, which is that rarer than rare film that actually lived up to the hype?

Yeah, I had heard from our good friend Drew Taylor that it was one of his most preferred

animated movies of the year and I was like oh them strong words and I had to temper my

expectations walking through the door and even with tempered expectations blew my

little mind out of the water. It was crazy good. Crazy good.

We'll get into how crazy and how good on the second half of the show, but before we do an in-depth

dive on that Sony Patient animation release,

let's do a quick news wrap here.

And I guess the most obvious place to start

is, wasn't our last show where you and I were predicting that because you know clearly

Marvel Studios had to keep everything under wraps in regard to

Avengers for that we were telling folks oh we're not going to see a trailer till what

Captain Marvels have released in March yeah absolutely what was it I think 15

minutes after we actually posted the show that's when the the actual trailer

trailer drop. The Avengers Endgame trailer dropped.

Though to our credit, Aaron, we did mention a couple of months ago

that when we were looking over possible titles
