A transgender character is coming to the MCU sooner than we thought,

and could Marvel make a return to broadcast television?

As first reported by CNN during a Q&A last week at the New York Film Academy,

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige answered a question about more LGBTQ characters in the Marvel

Cinematic Universe, specifically transgender characters by saying yes, absolutely yes, adding

very soon in a movie we're shooting right now.

This is most likely going to be Eternals, but the question is if this will be added

to the backstory of one of the established Eternals or a new character.

Feigey has also been linked to a potential new network series.

Deadline is reporting that ABC Entertainment President Kerry Burke has said she's looking

forward to working with Feige, but as of yet, hasn't discussed which characters

would be suitable for a broadcast show.
