So welcome to a new episode of OnScriptcript. Today I'm delighted to introduce Marty Folsom,

who is Professor of Theology and Biblical Studies, and has been for 30 years, both in New Zealand

and Seattle. He has also been a therapist for 24 years, and he is the author

of the face-to-face trilogy on relational theology, which emphasizes a personal relationship,

hence face-to-face language. Now, apart from authoring numerous articles, he is now the author of Carl Bart's Church Dogmatics

for Everyone, with various volumes to follow.

We will explore his first volume today, and I've got to say this about Marty.

He is the kind of theologian and person I aspire to be.

His gentleness is evident to all, as you encounter him in the halls of

SBL, AAR, and it's a real pleasure to have you on script today. Welcome to the show, Marty.
