I'm sure if you're listening to this program you're aware, but in the later parts of his life,

King was increasingly radicalized along class lines, pushing for anti-poverty measures aggressively, and also as an anti-war activist,

as the Vietnam War was ramping up and lingering.

Those are the parts of his history that need to be emphasized just as much as the rest of the more common knowledge.
