First woman to fly in combat, first to command a fighter squadron.

Incredibly impressive, and she has a new book out today called

Dare to Fly, Simple Lessons in Never Giving Up,

which is excited to read the book, which I will.

From what I can see, it's something that would be incredibly useful, especially in an environment like today,

where we're dealing with a lot of adversity.

Yeah, thanks for having me out, Brandon.

Yeah, I never, when I decided to publish it, I never would have imagined we'd be facing the challenges we are right now, but the lessons are certainly timeless about how to overcome your fear and persevere, get through adversity.

I've had some unique experiences, but we all have common human experiences of how to

deal with some of these really difficult things and break through

them, break through those barriers and find your courage and find some good

wingmen and thrive through the darkness. So there's a lot of good lessons in there

that are applicable today.
