Hablamos un poco de la película cuenta bien, pero para todos ustedes que recuerdan esta película de Freaky Friday que ya es como de culto que psicońica. Real. Hablamos mucho de la maternidad con Lindsay Lohan, hablamos mucho de la maternidad con Jamie Lee Curtis, porque al final pues es una película que habla de una madre y una hija la la primera parte. Y la segunda, pues es un poco lo mismo. Y entonces, les quiero presentar hoy la segunda mitad, la pasada de mañana, de la conversación que tuve con Lindsay y Jamie. Remember how many times I made you see this movie? So she was like super excited. This is like full circle, 22 years after. And I think that you need to tell Jamie the story of how this came about. You know, full circle is a great way to describe Freaky Friday. I mean, really, yeah, it is a full circle because of our history. So, Freaky Friday just happened because I went around the world to sell a movie, a Halloween movie, and the only other thing they wanted to talk about was Freaky Friday. It was Freaky Friday, asking if there was going to be a sequel. And then the kind of conversation was simply like, yes, absolutely. But Lindsay, you know, has to be old enough to have a teenager. And then somewhere, I think, was Australia. Someone said she is. And I was like, what? Because, you know, I think you were like your 15. So I haven't been like adding up math. And then they said, yeah, she's all done after 50. And I was like, oh, so when I got home from that tour, I called Bob Eiger, who's the head of Disney and said, hi. I think she's old enough. Well, she's old enough and I think it's time. And you know, she's, anyway, that's how it really happened. And who called you? How did you say? Well, Jamie called me. We were already in contact. We were already. Because you mentioned it to me when I was at home in Dubai and when I was working in Ireland, we kept discussing it. And then she came to California over the years. Yeah, because of course, of course. I mean, it's natural, pero tiene que tener más más más más más más más. Entonces todos nuestros hijos vieron Free Gear Friday y bueno pues 22 años después estamos de regreso con Free Gear Friday que es la parte 2 y por ahí empiezo con Jamie que nos cuente la historia de cómo sucedió me dice mira justo es un círculo completo y es una super buena forma de describir Free Gear Friday, un círculo completo porque es nuestra historia. Y Free Gear Friday pasó porque estaba promocionando yo la película Halloween alrededor del mundo y de la única otra cosa de la que querían hablar además de la película era The Free Gear Friday, que en realidad pues era Free Gear Friday. Entonces, me estaban preguntándose, abrir una secuela y la conversación fue simplemente como absolutamente va a haber una secuela, pero Lindsay tiene que tener la suficiente edad para ser mamá de una adolescente. Y esto llegué a casa de ese tour de medios, ya me ha baubiger, que es el presidente de Disney, bueno, el comento yo, que en efecto ya tiene la edad, entonces le pregunto a Lindsay, que de quien recibió la llamada, de mi sé que la llamó Jamie, que siempre habían estado en contacto, y Lindsay dice que Jamie se lo mencionó cuando estaba en su casa en Dubai y cuando Lensy estaba trabajando en Irlanda, es cuando vuelven a discutir el tema de hacer esta secuela. Y estuvieron en contacto en realidad a lo largo de todos los años, ¿no? Lensy dice que sí y Jamie dice, claro, es que a ver, es una gran película. It's not as exciting. We need something that gets her outside and is more of an environmental kind of loving creature. Yeah. And that Lily's character was more on the surface, and we wanted it to be more fashion rather than beauty, because we don't want to be promoting something where we're telling girls just stare at yourself in a mirror. So it was more about what you wear, the fit, and all that. So we worked on it a little. We both obviously had a lot of opinions. And we also had a great team of producers, a wonderful director. And once you've kind of got it laid in at some point, it just has to come alive or not. And it's a Disney-body swap comedy, which requires your belief that people have switched. And that moment in the movie is the moment for the. For years. But it's the moment of truth. It's either going to work or not. In the first movie, obviously, it worked. And that's when the crypt keeper and all of that sort of stuff happened. And now in this one, the same thing happens. Y Lensy dice, creo que lo más importante fue que cuando llegaron los primeros guiones, acercaban a la idea y creo que fue el primer borrador del guión en realidad. Yo estaba grabando en la clanta, lo llevé en medicüenta que había una chica americana y una chica inglesa que intentan unir a sus padres como en juego de gemelas a Juan de Parentrap. Entonces pues fue algo muy familiar. Un poco familiar está bien esa referencia de Paramount Drop o juego de Gemelas porque es una película igual de Disney, obviamente también muy exitosa, pero lo que nosotros queríamos entender es Freaky Friday que onda, que tuviera el tono correcto entre lo que sabemos que funciona muy bien, que para mí es la señorita Lohan y yo. Y Lindsay dice también hacer que Harper fuera otro tipo de personaje porque primero era una gamer y eso la tendría siempre dentro de la casa y necesitamos salen que es excitante había que sacarla a la calle y dice Jamie sí en esta un salguen como más ambientalista una chava que fuera más entrañable. Y el personaje de Lily era más superficial, queríamos que fuera más amante de la moda, que de la belleza, porque no queremos promover algo donde les llegamos a las chavas, debes estar todo el tiempo viendo en el espejo. Y entonces es algo más sobre lo que te pone, es el ajuste y todo eso y por eso trabajamos un poco obviamente cada una de

nosotros que tenía diferentes opiniones y también teníamos pues un gran equipo de

productores, un director maravilloso y una vez que ya lo tienes como base en algún momento

cobra vida y ya sabes pues es una comedia de Disney donde cambian de cuerpos que requiere

tu creencia que las personas en realidad sí están cambiando de cuerpo y el momento en la película, el momento éste de la verdad, donde sabes si puede funcionar o no va a funcionar, nos dimos cuenta y nos cayó el 20 que esto sí va a jalar y es cuando el guardián de la cripta y todo eso sucedió y ahora pues en esta también pasó y tan pronto cambiamos

Todo estaba funcionando bien y todos nos sentimos ok y dijimos pues venga vamos a filmar I'm a child. Oh, I can. But then now you're a mother. And there's something, because I'm a mom too, there's something about motherhood that gives you like a totally different perspective on your children. So now that you are a mother in real life and you're a mother in the movie. How did that help?

Like what is what was your approach? How did you see a difference? Um, I mean, it was, it's, it's different in the movie because she's a mother of a teenager. And that I'm not, I'm not there yet. But I would, I will say that. Hang in there. Hang in there. Yeah. Um, I don't rush me. It's okay right now.

I will say that just becoming a mother changes, as you said,

your perspective on life altogether. And you have this different kind of empathy and sensitivity. And the whole world just looks different when you become a mom. It's no longer about you or any other sources than your child. And I wanted to show that in Anna. And you have to find time for yourself in doing these things like Anna with her writing. And she kind of keeps it secret because she doesn't want it to overshadow her being a mom to her daughter. So I figured a way to do that was to have Anna appear now that she has really channeled more of tests. She has a different kind of, she's a little calmer, she's always trying to maintain her cool, but more in that test has rubbed off on her. So that worked well, I think. I can imagine that there's much more empathy of what a child goes through and what the mother daughter relationship is actually, you know, all about. But it's all, I think it's also important because Anna chose to be a single mother. And Tess said, if you're choosing to be a single mother, I will support you. And so I think it's also a testament to grandparents who step up, show up for their single children for their say, I understand you're doing this on your own, but you don't have to be alone. You may not have a partner in this, but I'm going to show up for you. And I think that bonded them. I think it tracks with Tess and Anna, and yet it's also an important message just for la gente. Me dice, mira, es diferente en la película porque ella es la madre de un adolescente y yo, obviamente, todavía no llegó a eso. Su hijo apenas tiene dos años. Pero, diré que ahora sí que no me apresuren, no quiero llegar ahí tan pronto, pero creo que el hecho de convertirte en una mamá, te cambia la perspectiva en la vida, en todos los aspectos. Y tienes un tipo diferente de empatía y desensibilidad y el mundo entero parece diferente cuando te conviertes en mamá y ya no es todo sobre ti o otras cosas que no sean sobre tu hijo y yo quería mostrar a su enana y tienes que encontrar tiempo para ti misma en hacer cosas como escribir que ahora tiene que mantener en secreto porque no quiere que eso lo pague al ser una mamá con su hija, una mamá soltera, así es que pensé que una forma de hacer eso era que ahora Ana tiene más cosas de test, tiene una forma diferente de actuar, es un poco más calmada, siempre tal para hacer un poco más cul y te se pone un poco más dura con ella. Así es que eso yo creo que salió muy bien. Y le digo que yo siento que obviamente siendo mamá hay una diferente empatía de lo que vive un hijo y de cómo es una relación entre una madre y una hija y dice Jamie mira, yo creo que también es importante porque Ana decide ser madre soltera y tez dijo bueno pues estás decidida ser una madre soltera te voy a apoyar y así creo que es también un ejemplo para los abuelos que ayudan a sus hijos que deciden ser padres soltados y dicen hijo le entiendo que estás decidiendo esta tu manera pero no tienes que estar sola o solo. Puede que no tengas

un compañero o compañero en esto pero yo estoy aquí para ti, creo que ese vínculo que tienen Tess Yana también es un mensaje muy importante para todo el mundo porque hay muchas mamas solteras y muchos padres solteros allá afuera en el mundo. Hay muchas mamas simple y musicales y,
