I don't care what anybody says,

because people like, oh yeah, right, you were in a cold you have no idea the fear that's

involved when somebody gets a hold of your entire future not to mention the

natural aspects of it where you're now you're going to lose your kids and you're not going to have a life.

And what I came from was really bad growing up and you're afraid you could go back to that.

You know, this is all I've known since I was 17. Welcome everyone to Was I in a cult, the show where we give those who have been in cults or cultic environments a chance to tell their story and

take their power back. And we do it with little levity and humor. Sometimes it seems

to be. You can't hit one out every time at the plate, can you?

Well, no. I'm Liz Aikuzi. And I'm Tyler Meissom. Now we've had a lot of guests on this

show in the last couple of years and they come to us in different forms and ways sometimes through books, sometimes through articles, and oftentimes through emails that are sent to us.

And if you guys have sent us an email about your

cultic experience and we haven't gotten back to you yet, fret not, doesn't mean

we don't want to tell your story, we just have a lot, we're trying to get

through them all, but we will get to you yes we won't make

empty promises like most cult leaders so a today's guest however Christina she

came to us in a very different way I have a sister right I have five sisters and one brother and I have a sister, right? I have five sisters and one brother and I have an older

sister and I call her my bitch sister. Her name is probably like, but she is. She's

a bit of a bitch. But she's also warm and funny and wonderful and great and gregarious and

likes to hang out of this bar in American Fork Utah the La Sabra which is French

for the sword and it's a little dive bar and I don't know why it's called the sword because there's a big rifle above the bar

But that doesn't matter right now.
