0:25.0	Today I'm standing on the shores of the Sea of Galilee here in Israel in the
0:31.8	Holy Land while on pilgrimage here and I just got back from
0:35.6	Cano where we were reflecting on the great wedding feast at Cana and the
0:39.6	mystery of Jesus first miracle there. I want to share with you some thoughts about what
0:45.2	that story from scripture tells us about marriage, about the great work of
0:50.0	transformation. God wants to work in our lives through the sacrament of marriage
0:55.9	and through the lived experience of our married lives. Pope Benedict once said
1:00.9	something very fascinating about this scene at the wedding
1:03.8	feast at Cana.
1:05.0	He noted how that first wine that started the wedding feast was wonderful, it tasted great,
1:10.4	everyone delighted in it, but it wasn't enough to go the distance it
1:14.8	wasn't enough to sustain the wedding feast Jesus had to come into the
1:19.7	middle of that wedding feast and then perform his great work, his miracle,
1:25.0	where he changes the water into wine,
1:28.0	providing an abundance of wine.
1:30.0	We know that he ends up providing about
1:32.0	120 gallons worth of wine.
1:35.0	So it was some party once Jesus came into the midst of that wedding feast.
